Roberta Spray began teaching World History and AP World History in the New Jersey public schools in 2012. She received her master's in education with a specialty in Social Studies at Montclair State University (NJ) in 2012. Her undergraduate degree was hard earned at Princeton University: a BA in East Asian Studies/Japanese and a 4-year crew team letter. Mrs. Spray loves all things Japanese, rowing, cross-country skiing, hiking with her husband and dog, and being with teenagers all day long. She has two grown children: a daughter who lives in Cape Cod, MA, and a son who lives in Los Angeles, CA. Mrs. Spray and her husband moved to Boulder in the summer of 2018 after having fallen in love with the area as CU Boulder parents. She looks forward to learning together with her BHS students and having new adventures in the beautiful new environment.
