After 20 years as a software engineer, consultant and IT Director at places such as American Express in Phoenix, Ford Motor in Detroit, and IBM in Boulder, I decided to leave private industry and earned my Master's in Education to become a Computer Science teacher. In 2004, I began teaching AP Computer Science, Java Programming, C++ Programming, and other related courses at BHS, Fairview and Arapahoe Ridge. I love engaging students in learning game programming and mobile Apps. I have run the Computer Club and served as the Colorado Computer Science Teachers Assn. Vice President. Currently, I am excited to be on the district's task force charged with developing a K-12 Computer Science curriculum. My wife and I will soon be celebrating our thirtieth wedding anniversary and feel blessed to have three wonderful godchildren. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, bicycling, and playing the drums.
