The Theater Department at Boulder High School has built a reputation for high quality performances and experiences.  The program is an impressive extracurricular program that develops a strong base for acting and stage technology.​​​​ ​​Thespians and aspiring thespians can learn and improve their talents by taking Introduction to Theater, Acting, and Play Production (technical theater) courses.

The theater department creates a learning environment where students can explore directing, acting, playwriting, technical work in sound and lights, technical work in set construction, costuming, makeup, stage management, marketing, and art design.​

Boulder High Presents -  Black Box Theater 2024

Tickets for Black Box
You can reserve your seats now for the Black Box performances on September 25, 26 and 27 at 7:00 pm.  Black Box is a performance of five, short, student-directed plays. There are 120 general admission seats available each night, and you can reserve a seat through GoFan. We don't charge for admission, but GoFan will charge a small transaction fee. Any unreserved seats will be offered to walk-ins each night.
