Boulder High Athletic Update - As of June 29, 2020

We are now following Phase 2 Guidelines as described in the BVSD Return To Play Document. On June 15 fall sports were allowed to meet in person as long as it was outside. Starting Monday, June 29, all sports and activities can resume with a proposed and approved plan that complies with Boulder County Health Guidelines (BCHG). As guidelines change with BCHG and CHSAA, adjustments will be made.

Athletes & Coaches

All BHS student-athletes and coaches who plan to attend an in-person practice or activity must feel well and follow the self-screening process using the BVSD COVID19 Quick Screening Process (temperature check and health screening questions). Persons who become sick or exhibit symptoms of illness should immediately notify the head coach who will notify the AD and send the person home.

Everyone must wear masks at all times if physical distancing of 6 feet cannot be maintained. Sharing of personal items such as water bottles, food, or sunscreen is prohibited.  Washing & sanitizing hands must be done frequently and wiping down equipment before and after use is required. Additional requirements can be found in the BVSD Return To Play Document.

Summer Participation Form with COVID Warning

In order to participate in any summer activity or training at Boulder High, the 2020-21 BVSD Participation Permission Form must be filled out, signed by parent/student, and returned to the coach.  Note that this new form includes additional information about COVID-19 rules, guidelines, and risks.
