Club Description:
The Boulder High Cross-Country Mountain Bike Team is a co-ed cycling club at Boulder High School and a member of The Colorado League, Yampa Division. We are 10x state champions and one of the largest athletic programs at Boulder High. The cycling team is a club sport, not a CHSAA sport.
The team has grown rapidly since its founding, having well over 130 team members in 2024. It is the largest high school mountain bike team in the state and about the third largest in the nation. BHS MTB won eight titles between 2010 and 2019.
Any Boulder High School student, age 13-19 (as of Jan 1), can join the team. The team practices two days a week with rides beginning and ending at Boulder High School. Most rides are in Boulder City and County Open Space. Practice for the 2025 season starts August 5, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4:30 to 6:30pm. We welcome riders of all abilities and skill levels.
