Honor Societies

The Boulder High School chapter of National Honor Society (NHS) continues to recognize students for outstanding achievement in four categories: scholarship, character, leadership and service.  Membership in NHS indicates that the student has attained and is demonstrating and promoting all of these qualities, and is exerting an effort to improve conditions at both Boulder High School and in the community.

The National Art Honor Society (NAHS) is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding Visual Arts high school students. NAHS serves to honor students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Artistry, Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character.​​​​​

What is FHS?

French honor society will be a meeting of students interested in furthering their knowledge of French culture and language who will devote their time to learning about French culture in France and Boulder. They will do this by investigating the various businesses and restaurants owned by French people and connecting with the French community of Boulder.

Purpose: The objectives of the Latin Honor Society are to 

• Recognize exemplary citizenship and high achievement in Latin at the secondary level

• Stimulate interest in the study of Latin and classical culture

• Contribute to the knowledge and appreciation of the contributions of the Classical world.
