Honor Societies

The Boulder High School chapter of National Honor Society (NHS) continues to recognize students for outstanding achievement in four categories: scholarship, character, leadership and service.  Membership in NHS indicates that the student has attained and is demonstrating and promoting all of these qualities, and is exerting an effort to improve conditions at both Boulder High School and in the community.

What is FHS?

French honor society will be a meeting of students interested in furthering their knowledge of French culture and language who will devote their time to learning about French culture in France and Boulder. They will do this by investigating the various businesses and restaurants owned by French people and connecting with the French community of Boulder.

Boulder High School hosts a thriving chapter of the national German Honor Society.  The mission of German Honor Society is to promote German language and culture in our school and wider community. Members take leadership roles in German Club and represent the German program at the 4As Activity Fair, Showcase and at the incoming 9th grader night. They host events like the German American Day table and Karneval table, take part in the SPARK program that introduces German to middle school students, and are welcome and encouraged to implement new German-related activities each year.
