The PSAT/NMSQT is scheduled for Saturday, October 16, 2021, 8 am–12 pm. College-bound juniors should plan to take the PSAT/NMSQT (Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test). High-scoring juniors may qualify to become National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists. The PSAT is good practice for the SAT and is optional for all junior students.
Registration is from September 13 thru October 1, 2021. The price is $35.
There are two important steps to complete in order to take the test. Students MUST COMPLETE BOTH STEPS or there will not be a test for them.

Register: Bring the receipt to Theresa van Zante in the Counseling Office to officially register and receive a study guide. Registration ends October 1, 2021. Note: Students can also show an electronic copy of their receipt if they are not able to print it.
For students who have qualified for Free and Reduced Lunch, please see Theresa van Zante in Counseling to receive a waiver. The waiver deadline is October 1, 2021.
