Opting Out of Testing
If your student does not want to participate in their respective exam, they have the opportunity to opt-out. To do so, the student's parent/guardian must email Assistant Principal Scott Cawlfield (email@example.com) directly. Please include the student’s full name, grade, and the specific exam they wish to opt-out of taking. Our Spanish-speaking families can email Community Liaison Carla Barry (firstname.lastname@example.org) with this information. We must receive your email by Friday, April 2, 2021.
Lastly, these exams are in-person ONLY, there is not an online option for students. For home-learners who would like to come in, parents will simply need to complete the Daily Health Screener the morning of the exam, before the student arrives at the building. Home learners not coming in to take an exam should email Mr. Cawlfield to OPT OUT. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Cawlfield.
